Know the paper's structure
Read the current CBSE sample paper and marking scheme. They show the mix of objective, short-answer, long-answer and case-based questions.
Treat derivations as reasoning
Understand each step of a derivation so you can reproduce it under pressure. Practise writing them with clear diagrams and labelled assumptions.
Numericals need units and steps
Write the given data, the relation used, substitution and the final answer with units. Step-wise presentation protects marks.
Ray diagrams and circuit diagrams
Optics and Current Electricity questions often depend on neat, correct diagrams. Practise them separately.
Revise in cycles
Plan at least three revision rounds: chapter-wise, unit-wise and full-paper practice under timed conditions.
